FX spot and forward contracts

Find spot and forward contracts in any convertible currency pair including emerging market currencies. There is no restriction on deal size. You can contact us for your spot and forward contract needs regardless of the value involved.

Spot contracts allow you to buy or sell your foreign currency at the current market rate, to be physically transacted in two business days.

Alternatively, for a future date for which the exchange rate is not known, a forward contract will lock in a pre-agreed exchange rate, so that you can have foreknowledge of your budget rather than be surprised by currency fluctuations.

Managing FX exposure

Lay a solid foundation for the management of your foreign exchange exposure. To begin, use our simple yet effective four-point plan.

The factors that come together to determine a business' FX exposure makes each business as unique as a fingerprint. Our goal is to work with you to understand that fingerprint and to tailor the most effective risk strategy possible, including a balanced portfolio approach to protection.

A small shift in currency rates can have a significant impact on a business. No two businesses are affected alike by the same currency rate movement. That is why we analyse your business' exposures in depth.

A unique combination of global diversity and local connectivity differentiates us from similar businesses, which is why we can offer you market-leading capabilities in managing FX exposure. Our four-point plan is a starting point towards building a complex and successful FX exposure safety net. We want to help you understand the strategy we develop with you, so that you can benefit from our flexibility and avoid paying premiums for protections you don't need.

Identifying FX exposure

Identify and curb risks by developing the best strategy for your business. You can be open to FX risk whether your business is based overseas or locally, due to the volatility of currency markets.

Opportunities and risks can be monitored and their impact on your business' profitability quantified, but you may not have the hours to set aside for complex analyses in order to respond on time. That’s where we can help. While our experts are doing your FX exposure homework, you can continue with your business – be it making payments, receiving income in any currency, or managing your overseas assets or borrowings.
