GoSettlement member Nostro services
The functionality and, indeed, the efficiency of Continuous Linked Settlement (CLS) will depend on the ability of members to move funds into the CLS bank on an intraday basis. As such, settlement members will need to ensure that their Nostro service providers can meet the timing and liquidity demands of CLS.
HSBC will be offering CLS-compliant enhanced Nostro payment services initially in GBP, EUR and USD. This service will include the identification and prioritisation of CLS-related payments from other payments traffic and timed release functionality, the provision of liquidity facilities and real-time, online balance and transaction reporting.
