HSBC Global Payments and Cash Management is divided into four principal teams – Sales, Product Management, Market Development and Client Management. Their functions and responsibilities are described below.

Sales

HSBC is a leader in the provision of payments and cash management services to the institutional and corporate market in the Asia-Pacific region. Relying on experienced industry sector specialists located in 20 countries across the region, our Sales team is able to understand the ever-growing complexity of our clients' domestic, regional and global needs. Working closely with clients, our sales professionals are redefining cash management through an advisory approach and the engineering of tailored solutions to build foundations for your success.

Product Management

HSBC is continuously investing in cash management products and services to deliver value-added solutions to enhance clients’ working capital management and to meet the evolving needs of their businesses. The Product team is responsible for understanding client needs and translating these into innovative solutions that exceed expectations and drive superior results for the organisation. A Product Manager manages a product from end to end, across all aspects of the product life cycle – from concept of the idea development, commercialization, through to ongoing business management.

Market Development

One of the primary responsibilities of the Market Development area is to devise and execute strategies to ensure that HSBC Global Payments and Cash Management is positioned appropriately as the leading cash management franchise in Asia – as identified by potential cash management clients and current clients alike. Whether clients identify with the strength of our reach, our in-country focus, the integrated nature of our product propositions, our solution-tailoring, our consultative client management, the depth of our specialist resources or our wider thought leadership across the industry - we seek to capture mindshare and deliver on our promise as the Best Cash Management Bank in Asia-Pacific.

Client Management

Client Management is responsible for delivering consistent, high quality services through its three teams: Client Implementation, Client Integration and the Asian Client Service Centre (ACSC).

The Client Implementation team leads the implementation of cash management solutions and provides consultancy advice to clients across the Asia-Pacific region. Within 20 countries of different regulatory and operating environments and a broad range of cash management products, the team adopts proven implementation methodologies to ensure solutions are delivered in a consistent and professional manner.

The Client Integration team focuses on the technical integration aspects of our cash management solutions.  By providing consultancy advice and hotline support on the usage of our technical tools, the team ensures that our clients’ technical requirements are met.

The ACSC offers a single point of contact for clients' cash management and banking needs. It provides professional advice, training and guidance on the usage of our products and services to improve business processes.
