Dave Mullen, Head of Private Equity North America – Dave joined HSBC Capital (Canada) in 1994 and became chief executive officer in 1995. Before joining HSBC, he was a vice president with the Investment Banking Group of Citibank Canada. He started in the investment arm of Manulife Financial, later moving to corporate finance at Pemberton Securities. Dave is on the board of directors of various public and private companies as well as several philanthropic societies. He is also a member of HSBC Bank Canada’s Executive Committee and holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. |

James W Marley, Managing Director – Jim has managed the private equity investment program in the USA for 19 years. He joined the organisation in 1991 and was involved in the creation of HCUS, formerly known as Midland Montagu Private Equity. Prior to joining HSBC, Jim worked as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch. Jim serves on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies as well as on selected fund advisory boards. He received his MBA from The Wharton School. |

Stephen C Hindmarch, Managing Director – A 21-year employee of HSBC with commercial/corporate lending, credit and investment banking experience in Toronto, London and New York, Steve joined HCUS in 2003. Prior to joining HSBC, he worked for the Bank of Canada and for an international freight forwarding company. Steve serves on the Board of Directors for several portfolio companies as well as on selected fund advisory boards. He received his MBA from the University of British Columbia. |

Steven Schaefer, Chief Financial Officer – Steve joined the HSBC Group in October of 2004 as Controller for HSBC Capital. Steve has over 17 years experience in alternative investment industry. Prior to HSBC, he worked with several institutional investors including JP Morgan and in fund administration where his clients included Citicorp, Odyssey Investment Partners, Hamilton Lane, W Capital, UBS and Merrill Lynch. Steve is a CPA. |

Andrew L DiMiero, Director – Andrew joined the HSBC Group in 1998. He began his career in Corporate Finance, and later worked in the Debt Finance Group, which is responsible for the origination and distribution of real estate syndicated loan opportunities in North America. Andrew joined HCUS in 2004. He received his BBA in Finance from James Madison University. |

Andrew P Trigg, Director – Andrew joined HCUS in 2005. Prior to HCUS, he was a vice president at DeltaPoint Capital, a private equity fund focused on small market buyout transactions. Before DeltaPoint Andrew was an associate at Capital Formation Group, a boutique investment banking firm. He received his BA Finance degree from the University of New York at Buffalo. |

Cristiano M Boccia, Director – Cristiano joined HSBC Capital in 2008. Prior to joining HSBC Capital, Cristiano was a vice president at AEA Investors, focusing on direct investments for its global middle market buyout fund. He also worked for Aetos Capital, an affiliate of AEA, in its private equity fund-of-funds business. He started his career in private equity in 2000 at Warburg Pincus in its Latin America Group. He received his BS in Engineering from Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo and his MBA from the University of Chicago. |

Duke M Punhong, Vice President – Duke joined HCUS in 2004. Prior to HCUS, he worked at Cornerstone Equity Investors, a middle market buyout fund based in New York. Before Cornerstone he was an investment banker in the Financial Buyers Group at Bear Stearns. He received his BA Finance degree from the University of Texas at Austin. |

Will C Henderson, Assistant Vice President – Will joined HCUS in 2007. Prior to HCUS, Will spent four years with MidMark Capital, a middle market buyout fund based in Morristown, NJ. Prior to MidMark, he was an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Bear Stearns. He received his BS Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |

Javier M Ledesma Arocena, Assistant Vice President - Javier joined HSBC Capital in May 2007. Prior to joining HSBC Capital, he was a member of HSBC Alternative Investments, where he worked on private equity transactions in India, China and Hong Kong. Previously, he was an Investment Associate for over 3 years with HSBC Private Equity Latin America, HSBC's former private equity fund with a focus in Argentina, Brazil and Chile. He started his career at HSBC Bank Argentina and Brazil as an analyst for the Corporate and Investment Banking departments. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Torcuato Di Tella University, Argentina, where he graduated top of his class. |
