GoVenture Funds
HPEA advised its first venture fund in 2001 and is currently adviser to three Venture Funds. The initial two Venture Funds advised by HPEA are fully invested and committed and each of the funds has an attractive track record of investment realisations.
The Venture Funds typically target investment opportunities in early to mid-stage, technology-focused and high growth businesses in Asia. Their geographic focus is on China, Taiwan, South Korea, India and certain countries in Southeast Asia. Capital for the Venture Funds is provided by the HSBC Group and other global institutional and private investors. The objective of the Venture Funds is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by developing a diversified portfolio of investments in the Asian region.
