Strategic Financing Advisory

The role of the Strategic Financing Advisory (SFA) team is to analyse potential capital structure and financing solutions available to clients of Global Banking. We seek to answer the question: "If I were the chief financial officer or treasurer of this company, how would I finance myself and why?" SFA's generic financing approach is driven by the fundamental principle that a company's business should drive its financing strategy, and not the reverse.

While SFA is product neutral, it works closely with the Coverage, Advisory and Financing Product teams to deliver solutions that can be successfully executed in the relevant financial markets. SFA also provides a credit ratings advisory service.
