GoSub-Custody and Clearing in Bermuda
The Bank of Bermuda, now a member of the HSBC Group, has provided banking services in Bermuda for over 116 years. Through investment in infrastructure, management, innovative products and superior customer service, we have become the largest bank in Bermuda with over 1,000 staff under employment. Founded in 1889, the Bank of Bermuda is a leading provider of fund administration, trust, custody, asset management and banking services. In 2004, it became a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc.
The addition of Bermuda to HSBC's worldwide Sub-Custody and Clearing network means that our operations now benefit from Sub-Custody and Clearing's regional support infrastructure and global systems expertise. Key areas that have been enhanced for Bermuda through this include worldwide relationship management support, central client documentation management, regional legal support and the global in-house network management function that facilitates sharing of best practices.
