HSBC Securities Services (HSS) is part of the Global Transaction Banking business line of the HSBC Group.

HSS provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic custody services as well as: cash management; foreign exchange; corporate trusteeship; issuing and paying agency services; alternative and traditional fund administration; trustee and depositary services and a full range of investment administration and performance consultancy services.

HSBC Prime Services, in conjunction with HSS, can deliver fully integrated services for hedge funds and institutional asset managers offering safe custody and clearing; securities lending; cross asset margining; and dedicated client service with transparent reporting. HSBC Prime Services uses HSS' global custody platform to provide safekeeping and segregation of clients' assets. Global assets under custody for HSS are USD4.8 trillion and global assets under administration are USD2.3 trillion as at 30 June 2010.
