Now, the Bank and its subsidiaries provide a range of personal, commercial and corporate banking and related financial services in 24 countries and territories in Asia-Pacific. Across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), HSBC has major offices in Dubai, London and Paris. Our principal banking subsidiaries in Europe are HSBC Bank plc in the UK, HSBC France S.A., HSBC Bank A.S. in Turkey, HSBC Bank Malta p.l.c., HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) S.A. and HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG. In the Middle East and North Africa, HSBC is the largest and most widely represented international banking organisation. We have a presence in 14 countries, operate 273 offices and employ around 12,000 people.
