MBA Associate Programme

Who can apply

Our Full-time MBA Associate Programme is open to final-year MBA students at target business schools around the world. We look for an international mindset, ambition and a clear idea of how you can make a difference to HSBC. With hubs in London, Hong Kong and New York and operations that span over 85 countries and territories, we can provide a broad platform for your talents.

Your induction

You'll start with an in-depth six-week induction programme where you'll learn about HSBC's strategy, objectives and market positioning. You'll also receive technical and personal skills training alongside other MBAs on our global programme. It's the ideal setting for building the broad professional network that a career at HSBC can provide.

Team and training

After your induction, you'll join your team. Depending on your application, this will be in Global Markets (Sales, Trading or Debt Capital Markets) or Global Banking (Advisory or Coverage Teams). In either case, you'll receive highly structured training and development, as well as regular access to business leaders. Your role will expose you to a wide range of products and encourage you to make a contribution. You'll spend your time with one team so you can fully engage with the business and develop your expertise.

What you can expect

A role in Global Banking Advisory will involve you in the origination and execution of a variety of transactions. Our teams provide advisory and capital solutions to multinational clients in different business sectors. You'll be part of cross-border transactions, leveraging our global network to deliver new client solutions.

Join Global Markets and you'll be able to choose from Sales, Trading or Debt Capital Markets. By bringing your skills and knowledge to the team, you'll be able to work in partnership with our experts to help us achieve our strategic ambitions.
