Diverse business, results orientation
The scale of our business is global. We manage all post-trade activity for global markets across 60 countries. This involves extensive volumes and a diverse range of financial products - from basic foreign exchange products to complex OTC derivatives.
In order to stay ahead, we're investing in our infrastructure to build capacity and support business growth. Our major renovation programmes harness the latest technology and specialist expertise - moving us closer to a globally consistent, competitive and robust operating model.

Global reach
Our structure reflects that of our sales and trading business partners. We have large, global teams working across securities, currencies and commodities and derivatives. We also have dedicated risk and control, client service and cross-product utility teams. Comprising nearly 3,000 people, these teams span our regional hub sites - London, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Kuala Lumpur and Manila - as well as 50 further satellite sites across both emerging and mature markets.

What we offer graduates
Are you interested in making changes in processes? Does supporting millions of transactions yearly excite you? As the engine room of the Bank, Global Markets Operations offers you the opportunity to support the front office functions of the Bank with their transactions. As key highly skilled people who are responsible for making these transactions happen, we continually look to improve our processes within this function. This is an 18-month programme for those who thrive on complexity and constant change. The programme comprises of two lengthy structured rotations embedded in a functional area, alongside specific classroom training. You will understand how the function operates and what its business impact is, so you are able to support it and help drive improvement
