Senior management appointments strengthen HSBC's Global Trade, Supply Chain and Cash Management capabilities

Lawrence Webb, Global Head of Trade Services and Supply Chain
Lawrence Webb moves from his position as Regional Head of Payments and Cash Management, to the new role of Global Head of Trade Services and Supply Chain. Mr Webb joined HSBC in 1981 and has worked in various countries and territories throughout the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. In 1986, he joined a project team responsible for the development and successful implementation of the HSBC Group's worldwide online banking and payment systems. Between 1997 and 1999 he was responsible for specific market development throughout the region. Mr Webb was regional head of the PCM business in Asia-Pacific from 2000.

John Laurens, Regional Head of Payments and Cash Management
John Laurens replaces Mr Webb as Regional Head of Payments and Cash Management, Asia-Pacific. Mr Laurens is an existing member of the leadership team of the Asia-Pacific PCM business. He joined HSBC in 2001 to assume the role of Head of Product Management, Asia-Pacific, overseeing the development and management of HSBC's integrated cash management solutions throughout the region. He has 21 years of banking experience, covering relationship management, sales, structured finance, operations and product management.
